Could this be the cheapest house in Britain?

This estate in Middlesborough could easily be the cheapest to buy property on in Britain with homes on sale for less than £1,000. The agent marketing has admitted the boarded-up property ‘needs a little work’.

The house in question is actually going under the hammer, Number 12, Limetrees Close in Port Clarence and it could well become Britain’s cheapest house when it is sold at auction the end of the month as the starting price is just £750.
